Sometimes yard work and baby-sitting can be a little bit complicated however, the pictures are priceless. Charly was quite taken with her first mouthful of dirt. Mom, not so much...
I am happy to say that I have survived another year at Riverwoods Surgery Center!!! I changed job descriptions this year and now work right in the operating rooms. It has been a huge change and I dare say that I will be learning the job for the next couple of years...if I last that long. I can actually "feel" my hair turning grayer. I find myself wondering if life gets more difficult as you get older or if it is just the lack of quick wit and reflexes that kept us on our toes when we were younger. I now seem to carry a note pad with me at all times just to write down what it is that I need to remember but, before I can write it down I have to put on these glasses that magnify everything so that I can actually SEE what I am writing! Give me a break, and, I'm not talking hip fracture...
I would so appreciate a day when my brain worked like it did at 40, my body felt like it did at 30 and my face had the wrinkles it had at 20. Other than that life is good!
